“Madness” Original Artwork
Original artwork adapted from a pencil sketch of mine done on a notecard. Earlier versions I referred to as ‘devil dog’ but I think the current title (Madness) better conveys the overall feeling of the piece. A good example of my fondness for creatures, dark and feral/crazed emotion, and my frequent use of reds and golden yellows.
This particular artwork has many version variations – most of the differences across these involve the border/area around the beast. One original variant was given as a gift. This version features a gold border of paper texture.
Materials: pencil, ink, acrylic, marker, digital edits/adjustments (Photoshop).
Fun fact: this artwork was made using my favorite colors (or it seems, the ones I most gravitate towards for art-making): RED, black, gold/yellow gold.
